..reassuringly sustaining a reputation for molten brilliance in the live arena, it’s arguable that Prolapse’s creative stock has never been higher. Which makes another dive into the group’s historically healthy working relationship with BBC radio producers and DJs suitably enticing.

The last night of a short UK tour for the rejuvenated Prolapse found us making our way on a miserable evening up the Gloucester Road in Bristol to The Golden Lion pub, a proper old English corner boozer with a 200-ish capacity room at the back. There was a good vibe in the place on arrival and with three bands on the bill, a sense of expectation.
...deeply omnivorous plundering from whatever sources serve the band’s collectivist broken mirror reflections upon the world. A modus operandi that is also visually illustrated by a none-more-fitting front cover image.
